Here is what we know, if Microsoft’s code was open that most of the vulnerabilities in windows would not be created from their continuous changes and modifications that they do to Windows. It seems lately that everytime there is a change or an upgrade to a part of windows they create more security vulnerabilities.This time they actually created vulnerabilities where they did not have any before.
Once again, there is a better alternative in Ubuntu Linux. It costs you nothing, can handle all the same application functions that Windows does, and does not have the vulnerabilities that Windows does.

I am not trying to scare anyone. I do not like enquirer style articles either. But take a look at the chart. It shows how fast your password can be cracked by robots on the internet. 
Programs are running off of computers that have been infected. Groups of these computers are called “Bot Net’s”. Their job is to accomplish what ever mission they have been directed at. They will work 24/7 until they are successful or are told to stop. So if they are commanded to find accounts at the RedBox they will keep working on that machine until they can get all the info that they can.
When setting up an account for a site that could be targeted use a password manager. They can be installed for free into Firefox and Chrome. They will make really complicated random and LONG passwords for you that you will not have to memorize.
Also this allows you to easily have different passwords for your facebook, your bank, your walgreens photo account. If all those accounts had the same password and your facebook account was cracked they would then have access to all your money too.
Take the time to learn how to use a password manager efficiently, once you get used to it, you will like it. You will be more secure and have some piece of mind.
